The Student Support team is students’ first point of contact. They are located at the Welcome Centre of our campus and greet students and visitors upon arrival. The team responds to general enquiries at the front desk and can help direct queries to and book appointments with the appropriate support teams as needed. The Student Support team provides assistance to students in person and via phone, email, and by live chat feature available on this website.

The Student Services team offers a wide range of services to help students succeed academically, personally, and professionally. In addition to providing students’ support with administrative tasks, such as uploading documents and creating a Student Identification (ID) card, the Student Services team organizes non-academic workshops and events on matters such as travel, housing, mental health support, accessing government services, social engagement, employment, and more.

The Academic team is responsible for services related to program delivery and support for student learning and development. They ensure the quality of education at NCT meets the highest possible standards and see to it that students are supported in a way that allows them to excel academically. The Academic team supports students through one-on-one academic advising, academic accommodations, assistance with our learning management software, library-related services and much more.

Student Rights & Responsibilities Office Team (SRRO)
The Student Rights and Responsibilities Office (SRRO) addresses matters concerning student misconduct, sexual violence prevention and response, as well as compliance with the Student Code of Conduct. The SRRO employs an educational approach to mediation and problem resolution and seeks to foster a campus culture of civility, responsibility, and respect among our student’s community.

The Retention and Records team supports students by ensuring their records are accurate and up to date. The Retention and Records team also assists students with withdrawals, second-term scholarships, and supports returning students with course registration.

The team at the IT Helpdesk provides centralized technical support to students for troubleshooting and resolving issues with network connectivity, software, and web-based tools. Students in need of assistance with tools such as Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Grammarly, LinkedIn Learning, and our Learning Management Software (LMS), Canvas, can direct their enquiries to the team via email, the IT Helpdesk online portal, or by visiting the IT Helpdesk kiosk on the 3rd floor at our Mirvish Building. IT Helpdesk team members will also be on-site at our 22 College Street Building.
