Housing Options
Neither Niagara College – Toronto (NCT) supervises or regulates rentals but has made many resources available, including the portals below, to assist in your search for housing through our Housing team. We strongly recommend that all housing requests be made no later than one month before arrival.
Homestay & Home-Shares
Homestay is a living arrangement that allows you to live with a host family during your studies. This option provides an immersive cultural experience and a chance to learn about the local way of life. In collaboration with Niagara College – Toronto, CHN offers international students the opportunity to experience warm and welcoming homestay arrangements, accompanied with custodianship services, ensuring that students feel exceptionally supported throughout their academic journey in Canada.

SpacesShared aims to alleviate two critical challenges – Canadian older adults’ ability to age in their own homes and engage with others socially, and international students' ability to access safe and affordable housing near their educational institutions. The intergenerational relationships created through the SpacesShared service enable students to contribute to older adults’ well-being by offering household assistance in exchange for reduced monthly rent.
