A small group of students learning together in a classroom

At Niagara College – Toronto (NCT), we are looking forward to the Spring 2024 Term, when we will welcome a new cohort of talented students ready to embark on an exciting academic journey.

With regards to NCT’s program delivery, please note that:

  • Niagara College – Toronto will continue to offer a blended learning model combining both in-person and remote learning, providing students with flexibility while maintaining an exceptional learning experience.

Friendly reminder for Spring 2024:

  • All students are required to be in Canada with a valid study permit to attend mandatory in-person courses.
    • New students are required to arrive in Canada by April 28 to attend the mandatory, in-person New Student Orientation on April 29 and 30.

In-Person Learning

Courses with mandatory in-person learning will continue to have resources available on Canvas to encourage collaboration and learning outside of scheduled class times. All evaluations will happen in-person.

Remote Learning

Remote learning will only be available for specific courses, offering both synchronous and asynchronous options. Remote courses will utilize Canvas, Zoom/Microsoft Teams, and other digital tools that support active learning and student-directed learning, with the possibility of real-time collaboration when deemed suitable. Major evaluations such as presentations and final exams may be conducted in-person. These assessments will be scheduled in advance and clearly outlined in the Teaching & Learning Package provided to you at the beginning of each term.
