Winter 2024 Term Important Dates and Deadlines at Niagara College – Toronto.

Niagara College – Toronto (NCT) is excited to welcome new and returning students back for the Winter 2024 Term. To help you stay organized and make the most of your experience, we have created a list of important upcoming dates and deadlines for the Winter 2024 Term at NCT. This list of dates can also be found on our website under Important Dates.

Please note that you must be in Canada with a valid study permit approval for the Winter 2024 Term by January 1, 2024 to attend the mandatory, in-person New Student Orientation on January 2, 2024. 

As we approach the start of the Winter 2024 Term, please continue to monitor your email for the latest updates from the NCT team.

Winter 2024 Term Dates and Deadlines

November 24, 2023

• REMINDER: Payment Deadline for Returning Students was on November 24, 2023

For information on how to make a payment, please visit our Payments webpage or watch a step-by-step video on how to make a payment via CIBC here.

Once a payment has been made, you will be able to view and download a Statement of Account and Payment Receipt on NCToronto Student Portal. Watch a step-by-step video on how to do that here.

If you are a returning student who missed the payment deadline, please contact the Records and Retention department at records@niagaracollegetoronto.ca.

December 4, 2023 at 5 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST)

• Last day to upload proof of visa approval to NCToronto Student Portal*

For more information, please visit our Important Dates webpage. Accepted proof of visa approval documents is a Port of Entry Letter or Study Permit. Please note that you must submit a copy of your valid, official study permit by the last day to register (January 12, 2024).

 If you did not meet the deadline to upload your proof of visa approval, please contact enrolments@niagaracollegetoronto.ca. Applicants who submit visa approval after this date will be subject to program seat availability.

Once visa approval is submitted, please secure housing for your stay in Toronto. Our Housing Services team is here to assist with housing. Contact housing@niagaracollegetoronto.ca or visit Housing for more information.

Your classes may be held at Mirvish Building (740 Bathurst Street), 22 College Street Building, or 9 Lower Jarvis Street Building. Please refer to your timetable for accurate information about the location of your classes.

You must arrive in Canada by January 1, 2024 to attend the mandatory, in-person New Student Orientation on January 2, 2024.

• New Student Orientation (mandatory, in-person)

The mandatory, in-person New Student Orientation will take place in the Appel Salon on the 2nd floor of the Toronto Reference Library (789 Yonge Street, Toronto, ON)

January 2: 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. EST

January 3: 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. EST

January 4, 2024

• Welcome Fair

The Winter 2024 Welcome Fair will take place at Mirvish Building (740 Bathurst Street, Toronto, ON).

January 8, 2024

• Start of Winter 2024 Term Classes

Refer to your confirmed timetable on NCToronto Student Portal to confirm your first day of class.

January 12, 2024

• Last day to register via NCToronto Student Portal

January 19, 2024

• Last day to withdraw with a refund via NCToronto Student Portal
