Important Dates and Deadlines for the Spring 2024 Term

Niagara College – Toronto (NCT) is excited to welcome new and returning students back for the Spring 2024 Term. To help you stay organized and make the most of your experience, we have created a list of important upcoming dates and deadlines for the Spring 2024 Term at NCT. Please note that you must be in Canada with a valid study permit approval for the Spring 2024 Term by April 28 to attend the mandatory, in-person New Student Orientation on April 29 and 30.

Spring 2024 Term Dates and Deadlines

April 5, 2024

• Payment Deadline for Returning Students

For information on how to make a payment, please visit our Payments webpage or watch a step-by-step video on how to make a payment via CIBC here.

Once a payment has been made, you will be able to view and download a Statement of Account and Payment Receipt on NCToronto Student Portal. Watch a step-by-step video on how to do that here.

April 15, 2024

• Timetable selection opens for NEW STUDENTS*

New students will be able to confirm their timetable via NCToronto Student Portal. Watch a step-by-step video on how to select a timetable here.

Your classes may be held at Mirvish Building (740 Bathurst Street), 22 College Street Building, or 9 Lower Jarvis Street Building. Please refer to your timetable for accurate information about the location of your classes.

April 18, 2024

• Timetable selection opens for RETURNING STUDENTS*

Returning students will be able to confirm their timetable via NCToronto Student Portal. Watch a step-by-step video on how to select a timetable here.

April 28, 2024

• Arrival in Canada Deadline

Our New Student Orientation for the Spring 2024 Term combines our Academic and General Orientations. As such, you must arrive in Canada by April 28 to attend the mandatory, in-person New Student Orientation on April 29 and 30.

April 29 – 30, 2024

• New Student Orientation (mandatory, in-person)

The mandatory, in-person New Student Orientation will take place in the Appel Salon on the 2nd floor of the Toronto Reference Library (789 Yonge Street, Toronto, ON).

•  April 29: 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. EST^*
•  April 30: 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. EST^*

*You will receive an invitation via email to attend a specific time slot during the New Student Orientation. Please be sure to attend only the time slot you are invited to.

May 1, 2024

• Welcome Fair

The Spring 2024 Welcome Fair will take place at Mirvish Building (740 Bathurst Street, Toronto, ON).

May 6, 2024

• Start of Spring 2024 Term classes

Refer to your confirmed timetable on NCToronto Student Portal to confirm your first day of class.

May 10, 2024

• Last day to register via NCToronto Student Portal

May 17, 2024

• Last day to withdraw with a refund via NCToronto Student Portal
