Important Dates and Deadlines for the Fall 2023 Term

Niagara College – Toronto (NCT) is excited to welcome new and returning students back for the Fall 2023 Term. To help you stay organized and make the most of your experience, we have created a list of important upcoming dates and deadlines for the Fall 2023 Term at NCT. This list of dates can also be found on our website under Important Dates | Niagara College – Toronto.

Please note that students must be in Canada with a valid study permit approval for the Fall 2023 Term by August 30, 2023 to attend the mandatory, in-person New Student Orientation on August 31, 2023.

As we approach the start of the Fall 2023 Term, please continue to monitor your email for the latest updates from the NCT team.

Fall 2023 Term Dates and Deadlines

July 3, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST)

Last day to upload proof of visa approval to the NCToronto Student Portal*

For more information, please visit our Important Dates webpage. Accepted proof of visa approval documents is a Port of Entry Letter or Study Permit. Please note that students must submit a copy of their valid, official study permit by the last day to register (September 12, 2023).

Once visa approval is submitted, please secure housing for your stay in Toronto. Our Housing Support team is here to provide assistance with housing. Contact housing@niagaracollegetoronto.ca or visit Housing | Niagara College – Toronto for more information.

*Applicants who submit visa approval after this date will be subject to program seat availability.

Once a payment has been made, you will be able to view and download a Statement of Account and Payment Receipt on NCToronto Student Portal. Watch a step-by-step video on how to do that here.

Timetable selection opens for NEW STUDENTS*

Students must arrive in Canada by August 30 to attend the mandatory, in-person New Student Orientation on August 31

New Student Orientation (mandatory, in-person) and Welcome Fair

September 4, 2023

Labour Day (statutory holiday): Campus closed

September 6, 2023

Start of Fall 2023 Term Classes

Students are asked to refer to their confirmed timetable on NCToronto Student Portal to confirm their first day of class.

September 12, 2023

Last day to register via the NCToronto Student Portal

September 19, 2023

Last day to withdraw with a refund via the NCToronto Student Portal
