Important Dates and Deadlines for the Spring 2023 Term

The Winter 2023 Term is already well underway, and we are now looking forward to welcoming new students to our Spring 2023 Term.

Please be advised of the following important upcoming dates and deadlines with respect to the Spring 2023 Term at Niagara College – Toronto (NCT).

As we approach the start of the term, please continue to monitor your email for the latest updates from the NCT team.

Spring 2023 Term Dates and Deadlines

April 3^rd

• Last day to upload proof of visa approval to the NCToronto Student Portal*

For more information, please visit our Important Dates webpage. Accepted proof of visa approval documents are Port of Entry Letter or Study Permit. Please note that students must submit a copy of their valid, official study permit by the last day to register (May 12th).

Once visa approval is submitted, please secure housing for your stay in Toronto. Our Housing Support team is here to provide assistance with accommodations. Contact housing@niagaracollegetoronto.ca or visit Housing | Niagara College – Toronto for more information.

*Applicants who submit visa approval after this date will be subject to program seat availability.

Payment Deadline for Returning Students

April 7^th

• Good Friday holiday closure (College closed)
  

April 17^th

• Timetable selection opens for NEW STUDENTS*

New students will be able to confirm their timetable via the NCToronto Student Portal.

*Timetable selection may open at different times depending on the program. Further details to be provided at a later time.

April 18^th

Timetable selection opens for RETURNING STUDENTS*

Returning students will be able to confirm their timetable via the NCToronto Student Portal.

May 1^st

Students must arrive in Canada by May 1st to attend the mandatory, in-person New Student Orientation on May 2^nd

May 2^nd – 5^th

New Student Orientation (mandatory, in-person) and Welcome Fair

May 8^th

Start of Spring 2023 Term Classes

Students are asked to please refer to their confirmed timetable in the NCToronto Student Portal to confirm the first day of class.

May 12^th

Last day to register via the NCToronto Student Portal

May 19^th

Last day to withdraw with a refund via the NCToronto Student Portal
